BioLogiQ Launches XP 24025: A New Era for Renewable Polymer Materials

[Idaho Falls, ID, January 24, 2025] – BioLogiQ®, a global leader in sustainable polymer solutions, is proud to announce the commercial launch of BioBlend® XP 24025, an innovative high-performance resin designed with over 95% renewable or recycled materials.

XP 24025 is the latest addition to BioLogiQ’s product lineup, setting a new standard for environmentally conscious materials. This revolutionary BioBlend combines 25% plant-based NuPlastiQ® with certified post-consumer recycled (PCR) linear low-density and low-density polyethylene (LLDPE/LDPE). The result is a resin for blown and cast film applications that reduces reliance on virgin inputs and significantly lowers carbon emissions.

Beyond its commendable use of renewable materials, XP 24025 is the first BioLogiQ grade designed as a standalone resin. While further blending is possible if desired, it is not strictly required. This achievement expands options for sustainable materials for products like pallet wrap, agriculture film, shrink film, can liners, and packaging films.

“We’re thrilled to launch XP 24025, which exemplifies our mission to help businesses make smarter choices about plastic use,” said Justin Sanders, Director of Application Development at BioLogiQ. “This new grade makes sustainability accessible to markets without compromising on quality or performance.”

With XP 24025, manufacturers can seamlessly integrate sustainable materials into product design, paving the way toward greater circularity in the polymer industry. XP 24025 is now commercially available.
